Helpful Hint:

Before first use, we recommend wiping your KURMA GRIP with a cloth dampened with a few drops of organic dishwashing liquid and water. This will remove any film residue left by the manufacturer. Then rinse with clean water, lay flat and dry completely. For maximum grip on a KURMA GRIP mat we recommend: Please do not use creams, lotions or oils on your hands before practicing on a KURMA GRIP mat. Wash your hands with soap and water before using your KURMA GRIP mat. It is essential to remove sweat, natural oils or hand cream, etc., as this will cause slip. If necessary, keep a dry towel next to your mat to wipe away perspiration. A yoga towel is indispensable for hot yoga or intensive training.

To keep:

Always roll your KURMA GRIP with the embossed top surface facing out. This prevents curling edges, so that your mat remains flat on the ground during practice. When rolled up, the mat stands on its own vertically for easy storage.

Cleaning:

Thanks to the closed cell structure of the mat, thorough cleaning is not necessary. Instead, just wipe the top with a wet cloth and mild organic detergent or disinfectant spray if necessary. Rinse with clean water, lay flat and dry completely. The mat can dry in the sun. It is not recommended to put a mat in the washing machine as it is likely to cause dents and wrinkles.
